Does BharatDonate take any fees?
No. 100% of your donation reaches the NGO. BharatDonate sustains itself through optional donor tips — you choose whether to add a tip at checkout.
How do I know an NGO is legitimate?
Every NGO on BharatDonate is manually verified by our team. We review registration documents, 80G certificates, FCRA status where applicable, and on-ground presence. We only list NGOs we would personally donate to.
When will I receive my 80G certificate?
Your 80G receipt is issued automatically once the payment is confirmed — typically within minutes. It's available in your account dashboard and emailed to you.
What payment methods are accepted?
UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm), debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay), net banking, and wallets — all via Razorpay's secure payment gateway.
Can I get a refund?
Donations are generally non-refundable once the payment is confirmed and the NGO has been notified. In exceptional circumstances, please contact us within 24 hours. See our refund policy for full details.
